CCS COMMUNITIES

Canadian communities are at the heart of CCS technology development and deployment and as such it is important to know how those communities are being impacted by CO2 injection.

The IEA GHG Weyburn-Midale CO2 Monitoring and Storage Project operates in the area of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada and is currently the world's largest CO2 injection operation.

To the right you will find links to interviews conducted in these communities – these are not spokespeople, nor special interest groups, but every day Canadians, who know better than anyone what having a CCS project in their backyard is like.
